Building bridges between travelers and local sustainable farms across Canada
Crop Camper connects travelers with local farms to foster sustainable tourism, support local economies, and create meaningful experiences that benefit both visitors and farming communities.
Promoting eco-friendly travel and supporting farms that use sustainable agricultural practices.
Strengthening local economies by directing tourism dollars to small farms and rural communities.
Creating meaningful connections between travelers and the people who grow our food.
Crop Camper began with three friends from Vancouver who shared a passion for sustainable living, local agriculture, and adventure. Inspired by similar successful initiatives in Europe, we set out to bring this concept to Canada.
We noticed a disconnect between urban dwellers and the farms that feed them, while also seeing small farms struggling to stay afloat in a challenging economy. At the same time, travelers were seeking more authentic, meaningful experiences.
The solution was clear: create a platform that connects these worlds, benefiting everyone involved while promoting sustainable practices and strengthening local food systems.

In today's global economy, supporting local farmers and producers is more important than ever.
When you spend money at local farms, that money stays in the community. For every dollar spent at a local business, approximately 67 cents stays local, compared to only 33 cents when spent at a chain.

Local food travels fewer miles to reach your plate, reducing carbon emissions. Small-scale farms often use more sustainable practices than industrial agriculture, protecting soil health and biodiversity.

A diverse network of local farms creates a more resilient food system that can better withstand supply chain disruptions, climate change, and other challenges.

By 2025, together with our members and farm partners, we aim to create this positive impact.
Be part of the solution. Support local farms, enjoy unique travel experiences, and help build a more sustainable future.
